NJ Ampfest 06 Video

Post by HeeBGB »

Some video of the Ampfest has been posted.

Ron's Frankenstrat is being played by Allyn through a 100 watt Marshall SLP and slant 4x12.

The jam at the end is Jimmy Somma (Seated) playing one of his strats, Bob Ingram playing slide on his PRS, and Steve (Mr.Hanky) on his R4 plugged into a JTM45 clone.

I am the headless guy with the yellow shirt playing a wicked topped R9 through my bare chassis Trainwreck express clone through the fawn colored Marshall 4x12. The pretty wood cab Express clone belongs to Chris Gondoli who drove down from Rochester, NY. Chris' Liverpool was one of my favorites! I wish I had spent more time with it.

Goodstuff!

Post by Mark »

I am glad that all concerned had a good time. Hopefully one day, I may be able to do the trek with something worth showing.

I have yet to do an appearance at the Australia tonefest, I'm hoping to complete my Marshall 18 watt clone and also turn up with my Boogie Mark 1 that I hope to have tweaked to my liking.

Those were very positive comments about Chris's Liverpool amp. Chris has put so much effort into that amp. It should sound better than a real Trainwreck!

I'll get there one day!
Yours Sincerely

Hi Mark,
Thanks for the kind words!!!!! I mentioned to Greg there were a lot of changes to that amp to keep it stable.........The changes were....... I used sheilded cable to the input jack, from the center of the bright switch, the wiper of the volume pot,and too the third stage 68k...........those third stage values I setteled on 68k/.002 made up from 2 caps in parellel.

Those are the only changes I made to your layout which is here in our files section.

Thanks!!!

I'll have to try to save the file overnight - that's a big file for a dialup connection.
