Hi Folks- I recently completed a build for a customer that I relied heavily on RJ for many of the basic parts. I used his modular style chassis and the Edcor Transformers along with the traditional full sized boards he makes. Oh, I and tried the EL84 power tubes he also stocks and while I haven't used these Soviet tubes in awhile, they sounded really great in this build.
He also built us a customer Copper faceplate that look especially cool. The amp was shipped off to its new home where it will get mounted in a cabinet.
RJ built the top plate of the chassis to hold only two power tubes per my request and I used the traditional Liverpool layout and values plus I added, at the owners request, a master volume. I used the Ken Fischer style PPIV using the dual 250K pot with 2.2meg resistors replacing the two 220K on board resistors. Master volumes and Trainwrecks are not always a happy marriage but for all but the most extreme low volume settings, it actually sounds very good- plus crank it up full and its basically out of the circuit.
Here are a few shots. I have more on my Frugal Amps Facebook page but I wanted to post here to share the great parts I got from RJ.

Re: 15 Watt Liverpool build with parts from RJ Guitars
Wow... very nicely done. I'd say it's more exciting to see the completion of a really great amp above a look at the parts I sent out.... but I am always grateful for some kind words. Can you post the link for your Facebook page that you mentioned?
Lately I've been enjoying the sounds of the various 15W Liverpool amps as much as I am the Express builds. The Edcor transformers really worked out nice for these builds... I am not sure if there is much to improve on but I am also working with Dave over at Pacific to get them to build a set of Trannies for a 15 watt Wreck style build. Of course for the ultimate I suppose there are many good choices from MM and other vendors. I like the 270-0-270 power transformer for the 2 hole versions of the LP... seems like something works really well.
Hopefully the new owner of this amp will get us some final build photos after he gets it into the cabinet and also some sound clips too.
