Zwreck Combo

Nice looking amp.

I was wondering if you guys thought he used the same chassis so that the controls are facing up and the tubes are mounted horizontally? Are the tubes any worse off that way, rather than hanging down? Seems like it might actually be better for getting rid of heat, but I'm not sure if the internal elements in the tubes may not like it.

It's a nice looking, and great sounding amp. I got a DVD of Dr. Z amps, and that one is included (Joe Walsh plays through it if memory serves correctly). But don't set your beer/drink down on top. The thermal vent (not to be confused with a polar vortex) would channel spillage/condensation right down on the hot tubes.

Yeah, but that would be true with any vent on the top. This would be a little worse though because it would get on the speaker as well!

So, yes? Same chassis, and horizontal tubes?

The Zwreck combo uses 1/2" baltic birch cabinet and Celestion Gold speaker.

I think they just switched the printing so you can read easy from front view otherwise same chassis Blues Breaker mounting style.

The new Zwreck combo almost in my Navy blue Wreck color
