Question for Chris G...

Post by v00d00blues79 »

I was wondering if you could help me out a little on my 'pool PS layout. I saw from your pictures that you had done up your layout on a board. My question to you is:

1. How big was your chassis? i have a 17x8x2 and i'm wondering if something similar to your board layout would fit in my chassis.

2. How did you handle the grounding in the PS? Did you ground the preamp filter caps seperately from the B+1 and B+2 caps?

Thanks in advance!

Andy

Hi Andy,
The chassis I used for my pool was from Komboking and is 17x8x2.The board size is 5 1/2 x 6. It will fit in that size chassis.

All the B+power supply and bias grounds go to the same place in my amp, the back corner near the power cord.

These are all tied togeather under the board.

Hope this helps

Thanks

Hi Andy,
I would be happy to help!!!! Although, if you read my latest post concerning the Liverpool you'll see I'm not happy with the way it sounds at the moment.
