Brad Paisley has a Trainwreck!!!!!!

I just caught Brad Paisley's performance on "The Tonight Show" and spied a Trainwreck amidst the Dr. Z equipment behind him. My guess is that it's a Liverpool since he prefers AC30 type amps and this one had a presence control. I wonder if he used it on the new album...

I think Brad has (the late) BBs amp from "BB and the Stingers". I remember Ken talking about BB long ago. I think there is a myspace page with a tribute to BB (and some clips that might be the same amp?) who was a great blues player but passed away a couple months back. It is a mid 80s grey OT Liverpool, and there are some close up pics on TGP. I think the amp was on ebay from BB's family a couple months back and I saved the pics. Then I think a dealer had it for a short period and now Brad has it. I doubt he has had the amp more more than a month or 2. BB also had a newer Liverpool that was also sold around the same time.

Pretty cool to see a Trainwreck on Leno! This is probably the 1st time a Wreck has been on national TV. I get the impression (from the stage pics) that Brad sets it fairly clean though with the bright switch off, and uses his pedal board as usual.

I had heard Brad was on "the list" for a Wreck long ago, but never got one in the old days.

Glen would appear to be right. Unless by remarkable coincidence Brad managed to acquire a Trainwreck at the same time that BB's were up for sale and there are two with a train image on the front panel then it's Hattie Mae (86).

I wonder whether he snapped up BB's other one at the same time, Tammy (90).

i think tammy sold on ebay. and it seems both of these were sold through hoboken vintage (brad got one and someone on ebay got one)

I saw Paisley had it on stage at another performance that was televised it seems. I don't think it was Leno, but another show like a morning show, Today show or something. It caught my eye and I watched and sure enough, it was the TW. Cool!

Great to see a Wreck go to someone like Brad Paisley. He's a great player and - what I've heard - quite an amp aficionado. Could be worse, right?
