1.5k/22uf or 2.7k/.68uf
what are the differences? Does the 2.7k/.68uf have more upper midrange response? Anyone have luck with it in an express circuit?

I presume you're talking about the input tube cathode bias circuit...
A wreck uses a large bypass cap and takes care of the excess bass later.
The resistor value has little impact. So... Build and then try out differnt caps and use what you like.
