hello everyone
i got the bug to build an express style amp and spent a few hours last night surfing around on the web locating all the parts ,i should be able to get every thing from two or three suppliers ,but looking at every thing got me to thinking what are the best parts for this build? what do most of you guy's like as far a resistors carbon comp ,carbon film ect. and caps OD's mallory ,sozo
I have read that the tone slut are really good but what other tranny's have other folks used with good results?basically I would like to know which parts are key and i should try to use.finally mouser was out of stock on the 1k 25 watt resistor where would the next best place to locate this

You can try Allied Electronics. I am pretty sure they have the Mallory PVC caps as well. Good luck with your build.

Hi Bigmik, Use PVC Mallories for signal caps, Carbon film resistors. Let me know if you can't find the PVC's, I have some. Welcome. There are lots of people here willing to help.

hey guys thanks for the help and the kind words it is really appreciated I will probally weld the chassis this weekend and go from there ordering the parts i'm really excited to get started , I'll PM you allyn to get more info on the caps
