I want to build a liverpool clone as a combo( for carrying it around with ease)
I see only references to head cabs. If I made a divider between the chassis and the sealed speaker cab, will that take care of vibration etc?
Why are original wrecks never in combo's?

Re: Is this a bad Idea?
It's KF's personal thing that they're all heads with no reverb, It should be fine, just be aware that combo's are harder on the amp over time and you may have to do more maintenance and replace tubes, but I have plenty of combo amps that have worked fine for years.

Re: Is this a bad Idea?
THANKS
I think if I install a divider shelf betheen 'head' and speaker cab it should diminish the damage- also if you build your own amp, then it's OK for future servicing purposes. The weight could be an issue, as I think I will go with cherry for the whole thing.

Re: Is this a bad Idea?
My semi-Liverpool is in a combo (an old '70s WEM). It's a pretty ugly build in an ugly cab, but it works
