Found a source for the 1K 25 watt resistor and it's only $1.21 (+ tax) with FREE shipping. Mine arrived within a few day via FedEx. Not sure how Radio Shack makes a profit on these considering the shipping is free...

Not too bad for a little over six bucks! Different than the one they pictured, but I guess it doesn't really matter.
