Question about standby and power switches

Post by jckid649 »

The Ceriatone kits have the switches numbered 1-6 on the tag leads. Are they to be installed with the number one facing the top of the chassis? I don't have any info on their orientation. The label on the sides of the switches both say ON-ON, so no help there as to which direction is the correct orientation for installation and all the pics on the site are too blurry to see.

With an On-On switch it wouldn't matter which way you orient the switch as long as the wiring is correct ...

The main issue is whether the amp is on with the switch bat up or down ...

If you follow the ceriatone layouts ... think of the controls as looking into the open chassis with the chassis was folded flat ... then the switches will be 'On' with the switch bats 'up'
