I've attached a PDF of a page of notes that I took during a phone conversation with Ken Fischer about 20 years ago. I was intrigued by the review of an Express that appeared in Guitar Player June 1992. The phone call would have been around that time.
I had 4 questions that I wanted to ask Ken, not all of which were answered or asked for that matter, because I wanted to let him talk. There is a lot of interesting stuff on that page of notes. What I am trying to reconcile is the entry which reads "5k P-P for output trans for a pair of EL-34s". That doesn't seem to jibe with what folks are using for clones as it appears that 6.6k is much more the norm.
Sorry about my handwriting. Maybe I should have typed it up but I'm lazy and I can't always read my writing!
I hope this a useful contribution to the collective. Enjoy.
