Hi there. This morning I was doing the final voicing for RFTs...
Cbass, On the picture below, one of Weber's subst boxes is hooked for testing different values for the .1uf coupling cap. You were right, I ended up using .0047uf instead. I also reduced the bypass cap in stage one to .68uf
My friend Marco Ciargo recorded a couple of clips with my shitty H2 recorder.

Zuccero, my front plates are engraved and then painted by a numeric controlled machine. They have a 3D look because they are 3D! They were done by a small shop at Madrid

I'm sure you can find something similar in your neighborhood.
They are relatively expensive (about 48€ per unit), but there are not minimum quantities and I can just send them a 1000dpi JPG with whatever I want engraved (attached is a low resolution sample of what I send to them). After I make the holes I apply one layer of clear paint (rj's tip)
For larger quantities it would make sense to have them screen printed or something.

Re: New K50 build
Pablo,Your amp sounds fantastic.
How do you like the power scaling?

Re: New K50 build
I think power scaling is essential to this amp. It is a very loud amp without it and you really need to crank the power section the get the right sound.

Paulus Saturn documents
In the link below are Saturn's design Visio documents. The layout and schematic include hidden layers that you can show with the command "View/Layer properties". These hidden layers are for options that are not currently installed (and that will probably never be). Namely, a switchable fx loop, GMX and Presence.
In the chassis drill plan, holes for countersunk screws are surrounded by red circles. Holes to be taped with a 3mm thread are surrounded by blue circles.
Enjoy,

Re: New K50 build
Do you happen to know if Visio standard will work for these files? I like the idea of doing layouts like this but Visio Pro is not cheap and I am not really down with cracked software..
Re: New K50 build
Sorry for the delay. The topic reply notification was tagged as spam by yahoo. The documents were done with Office Visio 2007
