Okay, it's almost time to order

After encountering an unforeseen delay (increase in kids college tuition) I am about ready to order my Trainwreck from Ceriatone.

A couple of questions first.

1. Does the liverpool keep that great EL84 brightness like the VOX/Marshall 18s? I have a GDS 18 and I love that tone, I'm hoping to keep most of it but have some more gain up front so I can ditch my pedals.

2. I have never had an amp with a PPIMV installed. Is it better to go this route or have a 1/2 power switch installed?

3. Are there any recommendations you would make that I should incorporate into this amp? It's going to be used for quite a bit of playing out, it's a gigging amp and we play mostly "roadhouse" style rock and blues.
