this chock ok for rocket

Its been kinda slow on my rocket project, ive bent and drilled chassis, but still need chock i was looking at this one, (Hammond 158L Choke 15 Henries 75mA 411 Ohms 400VDC!), anyone used is it the right one? also do i want to make a small turretboard for the electrolytics or are you guys just silacon them to the chassis? thanks mark

That is the correct choke. If you follow the layout the power cap stack has no board. It is glued with either cilycon or hot glue.

To be a pure clone you'll glue those caps to the chassis... something I have not really ever grown to embrace personally but historically it has proven pretty effective. Also you can't argue with the resulting tone that these amps are famous for.

Being im using a through body pt, real estate is concern, ill try glue or gupe of some type, i also dont like the component soldered then just hanging up from the sockets but i see everybody does it, is there a certain type wire used? like stiff soildcore? just trying to get a good handle on this befor i start thanks mark
