Hey fellas! how are you all? long time no speak.
FYI. My amp which was the 2nd express by JM and constance #3 and im not so sure how many after were built using Ken's stock. the transformers were
Pacific, which was the company the Ken hired to make the stancor spec transformers that he used for the early originals
It is true that these are now used up however JM has the original specs and has a builder that can make the exact transformer. I honestly dont know who it is, and i am not sure if pacific is still in business. JM has told me that he now faces the challenge of finding components that match the original specs.
One thing is that there are now more "boutique" manufacturers making old school parts than there was when Ken said he was having a hard time finding suitable components to build the amps.
JM has a electronic background and understands how and why things work or do not in the amps. JM has told me that there definitely is an issue with supplying the tubes that everyone wants/demands with the amps. He says that he has a source that will get the amps to where they should be and he knows how to voice the amps so they are all they should be.
Im afraid that its true that myself, AAron (constance owner) have been the only guys to demo/youtube the amps. I dont think that i will offend Aaron by saying that both he and i, are average players with average recording skills. My demos were only put out because i wanted to share my amp with everyone.
There are way better players waiting for amps that will have a better impact and better demos
I must say that my amp has mellowed a lot, it is really thick and raw sounding and i know that does not come across in my crappy youtube videos.
There is also more news. JM has designed new amps for trainwreck. these have custom transformers designed by a younger tech that was a close friend of Ken. Ken had prototypes and liked these very much for lower powered amps. JM though these were perfect.. JM will be offering new amp designs in the near future. Anyway, take care and happy wreckin!!

As much as some of that post was hearsay, I think it's great that these new Wrecks are being built. If we aren't getting bs'ed about JM and the new Wrecks hold up as claimed, that is. I'm not trying to sound cynical either, I think it's great that JM is trying to put out new models instead of just regurgitating Ken's work. Again if JM and the young tech say they are friends of Ken and have the family blessing then I'll buy it, all drama and past BS aside (some people like to hold grudges, I'm not one of them).

I'm definitely excited to hear some new amps and hopefully see some gutshots soon. Hopefully there's some KF-style SE amps that we can dissect!

Hey all,
Yes thats me in the Constance vids.

First off, ive stated in almost every post attached to these videos that I am not a pro guitar player.

I am a keyboard/organist with a degree in music and make a great living as one of the busiest pianists/organists in the MetroDetroit area

My love for guitars and amps is a passion and hobby. I play daily but only recently started serious lessons so that i can learn the theory behind the instrument and all the techniques necessary to reallyplay the instrument.

That being said, i knew putting videos up of my mediocre playing would get attacked pretty hard by real players. Ive taken down Many of my gear videos due to unfortunate comments. I guess i should stop doing guitar vids and just post videos o my playkng my B3 :)

Fwiw, the amp is insane and will never be for sale
Cheers

Anyone willing to take the time to post a video or sound clip is great in my opinion and thanks.

I would love to hear some Hammond B3 or other organ types, one of my favorite music. I would rather be a key board player then a guitar player :)

I have plans to get some new keyboards since I no longer have one in the house
