Re: Komet's Concorde
Yes very nice amp Allyn.
I am right in the middle of a K60 build with lots of help from bnwitt and a K50 style cab from Larry. Both of theses guys have been increditable to work with, highly recommend. Hope I can do as good as Allyn and Barry with this build.

Re: Komet's Concorde
AmpDoc1 in you photos it looks like you are only using two rectifier diodes. Are you actually only using two and if so are they the usual uf4007 variety.
Re: Komet's Concorde
J-Po
My schematic says 100k plate load resistor.

Re: Komet's Concorde
Thanks! I was just asking mostly out of curiosity though. Easy enough to experiment with a couple of values. Thinking along the lines Marshall 820R bias /100K plate, Soldano 1.8K/220K, concorde 3.3K/could have been a large value plate.
Tubes
Allyn,
You said you saw a Concorde that Ken made, what tubes were in it? Brand, age and arrangement? Or what would you recommend for one of your rebuilds?(I just got one lol)
Thanks.

Is this info considered secret, or...

Re: Komet's Concorde
hi guys,
do you know how many voltages are on the seconddary winding in a concorde PT?
i know that in the komet one are 365-0-365Vac, are the same in the concorde and change only the ss rectifier?
i doubt with it, because i think the 22k pull down res is to much high if the mains voltage remains the same.
let me know, thanx
Eddie

Re: Komet's Concorde
The PT is the same in both amps 365v. Only the OT is changed.
Concorde preamp board layout
Does anyone have a concorde preamp board layout that they would be willing to share?
