first time builder...

want to build a ceriatone trainwreck clone with my dad...we havent built one before...but he has worked in electronics for over 40 years...is this a good idea?

sure just follow the documentation and double check your work you should be fine. If you have problems come back and search the forum for a solution.

Don't rule out the option of gathering the parts domestically. rj and Allen can hook you up with everything you need. One can wind up with a stellar build this way! However you decide to go, good luck and happy tubing! :D
