I am in Victoria. If anyone is in the neighbourhood I wouldn't mind checking out your projects and vice versa.

Hey Kindred, cool stuff, always fun no matter what it is.
I've done an AX84, a few 18W amps (well, really I built an 18W, then rebuilt it as a MarWatt, then an SIII TMB). I also built a JTM45 out of spare parts, but since it has hammond, it really doesn't have that great of tone. I have two projects on the go: a liverpool (just ordering parts right now), and a revibe - reverb/tremolo unit.
Don't think I'll be up in Kelowna till next summer (of course), but feel free to give me a shout if you are down here. I always find I learn a lot just chatting about this stuff with others. Bring your guitar - gotta do some jamming too!

Hello Don,
I see your posts (D1camero) quite often over at 18watt. I am assuming that is you, right?
I haven't checked in to the Ampgarage for some time so sorry for the late response.
I live in Japan now but am originally from Victoria as well. Much like most here and at 18watt amp building isn't just a hobby for me but a relively newly acquired obsession. I will be coming back to Victoria from mid Dec. to early Jan. so if you are around It would be cool to get together and talk shop.
Chris

Great, I'll contact you then.
Homebrews in Vancouver
I'm in the lower mainland and have done 3 homebrew amps (5E3, 5E5a, and 18W S3) as well as a Revibe. Still learning to tweak them but all are gig worthy.
