Do you have the correct glue for the lead dress and stack-o-caps?

Almost tongue-in-cheek but it could be that every bit of carefully dielectric has its influence.

Just got two of these chassis from this guy shipped for 40.00 they are just over 1/16" thick and come in a brushed finish.

Well it didn't link to the right thread, just scroll down to 19x8x2 chassis sale. He will make a 17x8x2 for the same price. Top quality

Would you have the glue type available? My bad I guess but I assumed it was common hot glue.
Honestly though I put no thought into it.

Ok make it two things I need.

I was just checking those out. Good price for sure.

According to sheet metal gauge specs, 14 ga AL is .0641" thick or about 1/16".

Aren't most folded box aluminum chassis more like .090"?

That's funny Casey.

The Baja Skid Plates were on the same page as these chassis!

:D baja

The chassis is 14 gauge brushed aluminum. I gut the 19x8x2 for some larger projects.

I was amazed when I got them. I sat 14 lbs of transformer on them and they didn't budge. You can see it in my express pics in the OMFG thread.
He builds a bunch of stuff from the AX84 site. They have a trainwreck front end over there with a 6SN7 output I believe called a 4-4-0.

That's a great price for those not set up to punch holes.

Got the chassis and its thin but workable for lighter iron.

Its slightly better than a Hammond but not nearly as good as Allyn's, rjguitar's or Turretboards.com chassis.

It can be used so I will make something out of it.

Which chassis did you buy? The ones made of .064 aluminum are my budget chassis. I can make some out of .08 aluminum for $20, $25 with alumiwelded corners. Alumiwelding is brazing not welding but it makes for a very stiff chassis. Just check out my websight at ddawgamps.com for more info.

Thanks

I don't remember off hand whom I got the chassis from but I can upload a picture I never did use the chassis.
