TRexS with Blend Control

Post by johno9 »

I'm getting ready to build a TRexS and was wondering if the channel switching is exclusive (only one at a time), or if both can be feeding the phase inverter (to what effect?)? Is there such a thing as a'blend control" to mix the two channels, each channel full on at the extremes and a mix of the two in between?

The switching makes only one channel active at a time. You could probably add some sort of blend control but it wouldn't cut out each channel entirely so you'd never fully get a clean channel. Also there is so much gain difference between the two channels that you'd only get something resembling clean at the far extreme. And again since the gain channel wouldn't be totally off you'd still have some distortion all the time.

Stick with the switching
