I've decided to try a Vintage 30 / G12H30 combo to start with. Seems like a good thing from the videos on the net and initial testing with a different cab.

Really? The MS-12 is IMHO one of the most god-awful speakers ever made.

I guess speaker really are a personal thing. Also lucky I'm not trying to emulate what 'Kenny' liked.

And yep, the oval is for a leather and brass handle.

That is an awesome looking box. You just need the matching head for it !

My 'everyday' two watt amp has a matching headshell...
