Going from stranded to solid wire. Anyone actually notice?

I built my express clone right as the Francesca shots became available so it's not an "exact" clone. I ended up using stranded wire throughout and recently saw an interview with Ken where he explains why he used solid core wire instead. Has anyone actually heard the difference between the two? I'm wondering if I should switch mine out.
