I would expect the trimmer/capacitor on the pab board to be connected to the treble pot only when the pab would be engaged.

In the classic reverb signature looks like that the 220k resistor is eliminated.

You can use even a four wire cable for three footswitches and their leds.
That's how i have my amp and it's working fine.
