I've picked up this amp recently. Sounds very nice. It's a Hot Cat clean channel with an HRM OD.
I've only recently played a couple Bluesmaster HRMs. This one sounds to me to be Bluesmaster.
Are there telltale parts in the circuit where I can identify it as Bluesmaster?

Re: Dumble ODS Video on YouTube
I know nothing about these circuits, but I recently played 2 HRM Bluesmasters, and that's EXACTLY what they sounded like (in OD). The Eric Johnson reference is exactly the way I hear it too, there's a fuzzboxish quality to it. Very different from the smoother Dumble Overdrive I had been used to prev...

Re: First clip of a production Glaswerks!! Whatcha think?
I like the 90s mode, not quite as muddy as 80s mode. It has less gain, which leads to the clarity. Not as saturated. It's alot more 'in your face' than 80s mode.
I re-read my post, and realized it sounds somewhat negative. That was not my intention. The point I was trying to ...

Re: First clip of a production Glaswerks!! Whatcha think?
I'm finding that there's so many switches, I'm having to really dig to find the right combinations. For example, I got great cleans the first day, but since haven't been able to recapture that original tone. I tried every combination of switches. Finally I got out the manual and realized I overlooke...

Re: First clip of a production Glaswerks!! Whatcha think?
I'm going to try some video clips here tonight. The amp is a real chameleon .... so many tonal variations. People on the Gear Page have been clamoring for some clean tone clips, I'm getting some killer SRV type tones with thundering low end and snappy top end. I've never really cared much for bucker...

Re: Steel String Singer
One of 'em showed up used on Ebay a couple months back. Only $6K 8) I've heard SRV used an SSS on Couldn't Stand The Weather. That's my favorite CD for SRV tone. Texas Flood was apparently a Dumbleland? There's conflicting opinions out there... Anyway, if it's essentially a Twin preamp into an SVT p...

Re: Trainwreck vs. Alessandro
I owned a Bloodhound a long while ago. I had a Komet 60 at that time for direct compare. I now have an Express clone too. I like the Komet 60 cleans better than the Express clone. I like the BH cleans even better than the Komet 60 (although it was only a slight improvement). I don't know circuits at...

Re: Electroplex Rocket 90 - who knows the scoop?
Well, the seller got all kinds of grief on the Ebay ad, for ludicrous pricing. Lowered the price to an affordable  $5995 .... He actually holds back on Ebay, this is what he lists on H-C "D U M B L E move over-- These are the ONLY TRUE DOCUMENTED DUMBLE ODS clones. ElectrOplex will ENGULF you ...

Re: Electroplex Rocket 90 - who knows the scoop?
Gil, I thought you'd posted something similar in the past. I saw your review on H-C, saying the 30 was very Dumbly. But it sounds like the guts are quite different. As are the controls. (He was selling a '90', so I suppose that one could be different, but again, the controls lead me to believe other...

Electroplex Rocket 90 - who knows the scoop?
I'm seeing these pop up on Ebay for insane prices. They are being touted as not Dumble inspired, but actual clones. (this was news to me, news I'm not sure is accurate) I've read many accounts that vary wildly, so rather than post them, I'd like to start tabula rasa, and see what people here have to...

Re: Steel String Singer
Two Rock makes a clone of one. They only built 10, and went for 10 grand apiece. John Mayer owns one or two of 'em. They now make a production amp that's a SSS with an added overdrive channel.

Re: Komet
I got a chance to play a KF50 alongside my Wreck Express clone. The KF50 sounds closer to an actual Marshall. Massive low end. The KF50 is a huge, ballsy, aggressive Marshally sound. The cleans were good too, but I wasn't paying them much attention. For playing lead though, I can't see anything deth...
