Re: Dave Cobb's Dumble Modded amp
Cool video, I had the same experience with that BF Deluxe at Dumble's house. I played it and fell in love with it, I had to have one. Alexander said "find a donor amp and I make you one". I found one, he built it and it's my favorite amp. I have a few other ones he made me since, but that little Del...

I own a 2x10 cabinet from Dumble. I ordered it together with my Ultraphonix Bandmaster.

Re: Why does HAD use vintage Fenders to do complete rebuilds?
Good info on this threads. So if HAD can make anything sound good (including modding new production Fenders), is often using new transformers and there's questionable mojo in old pots than really why is HAD choosing to use old Fenders/Marshalls as donor amps instead of using repro chassis and new p...

Re: Why does HAD use vintage Fenders to do complete rebuilds?
Actually, I think Howard is churning out amps more frequently than people think. Correct. One would be very surprised how many famous people play Fenders and Marshalls which are rebuilt by Dumble BTW, both of my amps (BF Fender amps) Alexander gutted completely and rebuilt them new. C. It's just pl...

Re: Dumble Ultraphonix
Nice clips Mac Daddy, thanks. Love the ones with Red Volkaert, looks like he really enjoyed the amp.
The Rock Phonix and the Ultra Phonix amps were always my favorite ones from Dumble.

Re: Dumble Angels Breath?
Did it sound heavenly? :) Apparently Robben had one in the studio. From Robben's tech Daved: "Here is an exact quote from Alexander when I mentioned the continued interest in the Angel's Breath amp to him yesterday:" ""The best thing to tell the fans about the Angel's Breath amps is that they will ...

Re: Mike Landau new dumble???
qtone, these stories don't reflect how I know Alexander. Yes, I believe he didn't tell any tech how to fix the SSS. He wouldn't trust anyone to fix his amps. But Eric going through Bruton must be a tale. Eric had one of his amp at Alexanders a few month ago for service. They talk, Eric doesn't need ...
