OK, maybe I'm not with Andy on this one if he meant to bend your own box. IMO, that's too difficult to get right without a sheet metal break. If you know a roofer, he's got one of those. tube based limiter/compressor schematic?
I want to build a limiter/compressor for bass guitar using some 12ax type tubes. I'm looking for a schematic or even just some notes about the theory of operation. I got this from the church for free. The kids had pretty much thrashed it, as in , broke off a bunch of keys, pulled wires loose underneath the keys. I believe that it is beyond repair as an organ,... It's got a 50 watt tube amp inside. If nothing else the power and output transformers are valuable...
