what kind of transistor do i use to build something like this? i have about 10 different ones sitting around from various things but will those be able to be thrown into just any amp that i build? also am i wrong but do these layouts have two and three transformers on them?

mine is the second amp with the first amps speaker.

does anyone know an amp build like the VOX AC 30 or have a schematic for the VOX AC 30 or Classic Plus?

i guess the biggest question is does anybody know the impedance of one of these amps? i dont have any of that info so i cant replace the speaker ever (if i ever wanted to) and i cant change the tubes.

thanks for the reply and the info. i think it will help. the speaker and the transformers both seem stock, the only other thing i could think of would be the parts you mentioned and the tubes put in it. i think they are a higher gain and a different impedance than what my speaker and transformers ar...

does anyone know anything about audioguild amps? they are from the 60's and dies off shortly after. (thats all i know) i have a 100 watt tube combo amp and i cant find for the life of me any info on them. i think the ohms for the transformer, tubes, and speaker is messed up because im getting limite...
