Ditto Roe
It’s worth the upgrade imo on the OT.
As long as pt puts you where you want it’s good
You can’t hear the PT
But man the Merren iron makes a huge difference in my builds

Re: '69 Marshall PA 20
Fantastic!!!!!!
Love the 20 watters. Really underrated amps.
Grissom has done recordings with them for his Book and CD instrucitonal method, and they sound killer.
I used to have the 20 watt L&B RI..the 2061X...and wish I still had it.
Need to build one. Killer amp.

33K resistor.
31 should really be fine though. Depends on the tubes. I run the old seimens around 28MA with 410 on the plates in my JTM clone, they sound really good that way and should last longer.

Re: Neutrik equivalant to a cliff jack
I think if you want them in 100's you can get them from the US Distributor.

Re: Neutrik equivalant to a cliff jack
they're fine, they're just not true 'cliff'.
The contacts arent' as good. Insertion/extraction could eventually be an issue.

Re: Neutrik equivalant to a cliff jack
Yes there are fake ones. Make sure they say Cliff UK on the bottom or they are an asian made jack. The FORMER US Distributor is manufacturing their own 'line' of Cliff stuff and bringing it in to avoid having to purchase their wares Cliff UK. Asian varients are likely decent but won't have a nickel ...
