Yes, I have one in my '78 vibrochamp. They're the only current production cap I could find that are a perfect fit for the existing hole. All sections measured correctly with my Fluke and it's been fine for about 3 years now.
Wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

The problem with this is that the 5672's (low power) would need a load resistance of approximately 35-40k and my OT (hammond 125c) can only get up to about 27k. Is there a way that I can increase the load resistance other than just getting a different OT? The specs show a primary imp. of 22k when u...

Why limit yourself to +12V?
If you're building a bench supply, rectify separate supplies for +9V, +12v +24V/-24, +15/-15V...
Something like a 20v transformer and various (heat-sinked) regulators with plenty of filtering. Should be fine
