My power transformer is turned 180 degrees what a Marshall is dead silent no hiss or hum the magnetic flux is not strong enough
to interfere with the output transformer that said on my 150 watt SSS build I did have to move the output transformer 90 degrees

Re: Dumble 183 output transformer 2.2k
Amp Parts Direct part # APD-8026H 1.7K is what you want for #183 100 watt
I built a 100 watt #183 it was to loud for stage use I did use a Dagnell C1998 from a 1968 Super Lead 100
had to use a Dumblator next I built 3 50 watt versions using Dagnell 784-139 OPT no Dumbleator required

Re: Yet another 124 build

Mr. Dumble used 18 AWG solid core wire filter and filament and solid core 20 AWG solid core wire on the preamp...

Re: Proper ODS 183 transformer spec?
I used the NOS Thordarson-Meissner set in my #102 build But on #183 had a custom PT and a 1968 OPT from a 100 watt Marshall Super Lead That said the #183 build is way to loud with out the use of the Dumbelator Next I built a pair of 50 watt #183 no need for a Dumblator 183 001.JPG Green Hornet 3 001...

Re: OD/gain pedal for ODS clone?
I run a pair of 50 watt ODS amps 99% of the time no effects it's hard to beat the overdrive channels if I want a little extra
