Re: Looking for TW info
O Uhh thanks for your help. That's about as useful as tits on a bull. Read a little more, and show a little more respect. Cliff was just suggesting that you do some more research before you start asking questions. More focused questions get more focused answers. In a fairness it was a dick post :D....

Re: Looking for TW info
Rocket is 30w four EL84 power tubes cathode bias with 5AR4/GZ34 tube rectifier lot of chime like a Vox AC30 but also can get up and spank. Liverpool circuit is much like the Express; however, is solid state rectified, fixed bias, uses four EL84 power section and is more aggressive then the Rocket b...

Looking for TW info
I'm thinking about trying my hand at a TW style amp build but I'm uncertain which one.
What is the wattage of the basic three?
Liverpool
Express
Rocket
Any other info you might have or specific posts other than the stickies?

Bludotone in Guitar Player Magazine
The January issue of GP arrived in the mail the other day and on pages 28-29 it talks about the LA Amp Show. On page 29 is a shot and description of Brandon's Hi-Plains Drifter.
There's actually two heads in that shot - I guess the smaller one is the bludo drive.
Congrats to Brandon!

You can check out http://www.gabkits.com/transformers/cer ... pecial-50w
They sell mercury replacement parts for the ceriatone line (others too). There may be someone else who sells these too.

Part number help
I was given 3 or 4 of these by an electrical engineer in our church to help me with my build. Does anyone have a part number from mouser or other place to buy more? Re: Ok a new builder question - switching
Ok so right after I posted this I found this thread
https://tubeamparchive.com/viewtopic.php?t=12452
and it sort of answers my question...
Some of the first and best advice I was given when I first came here was to read thru all of the threads...

Ok a new builder question - switching
I'm working on a scratch build and i've looked at the 124 layout and a ceriatone layout. I'm confused by the switching system as the boards look more like circuit boards. How do you make those boards? Is there source to buy them? Don't laugh, but this is where I am on this. I feel like I am in way o...

part number/help
I ordered the wrong lamp and holder from mouser for a d style build.
Do any of you have the correct part/number and from whom did you buy it?
I'm a visual person and I hate not having pictures. Gosh I may have to actually read something.

Re: 'Chassis Run' 124ish Build
This may sound like a dumb question but where can I get a couple of buss bars?
I think sourcing parts is the worst part of building... Blaahahhh
