Re: The F Word
What bugs me more is when people say "F that", like not saying all of the word makes it any better...fuckin' pussies! Best comment yet. To be honest, Grohl, Corey Taylor, Ozzy and a few others probably over-egg the pudding, but it doesn't particularly bother me. I loved the Ce-Lo song, and this one...

Re: Dumble Overdrive Special Made In England
Music Ground, as of March this year, closed their shops in Doncaster (the original one), Manchester and one of their two Leeds shops. This was supposedly to concentrate on their London operation, although I believe the London shop has now closed - they own 4 other shops (not named Music Ground) in D...

Like you guys were not putting your names out their to fill the void in Ken's passing. Speaking of passing, how many of you guys were at his funeral? And helped and continu...

Travis, Jeff - welcome to Ampgarage! You'll find the guys here to be enthusiastic and helpful, as long as you leave out the 'boutique manifesto' stuff and the voodoo-mystique nonsense about Ken Fischer. You do not have an 'ampstrument', you have a potentially cool guitar amplifier - no more, no less...

Re: A Trainwreck Thread
I'm now convinced that TGP has been spoofed. It isn't as funny as a Rip Glitter review, but I think it is an elaborate joke. warble dropped a small number of clues...like knowing rocket scientists who've won an Emmy. Absolutely nowhere does he claim to be an engineer, yet some people went off assum...

Back in the late 70s, I was using a Marshall 18 watter. Perfect level then, perfect level now. 8) I remember using a borrowed Plexi half-stack one night, and soiling myself. I also remember seeing Alvin Lee in '72 lining up in front of a wall of Marshalls. However, if one followed the cable ...
