Thanks Dogears, Yes, the amp is pretty darned bright and certainly has a lot of sizzle in the OD. That is what I want to tame a bit. I am also finalizing the list of D'Lite mods as well. If he likes you, and approves of your playing he will mod a PRISTINE blackface bassman for you to the tune ...

Cool. I would love to get a D'lite but i really don't have the dough to buy it and don't have the skills to build one. I've got to build a tweed duluxe or something and work my way up to building more complex amps. The Dumble-style amp would probably be too much for me for a first build though.
