Re: Ceriatone 183 and Ford Amp
It is true that some of the Ceriatone chassis arrived bent from shipment. I am aware of two examples of that happening. In both cases, the amps (or chassis) was shipped in the USA from one owner to another new owner. Therefore the packaging for the shipment was at likely to be at fault. When my comp...

Re: Ceriatone 50 watt HRM
Anyone have an opinion on how the stock HRM/OTS Ceriatone OT xformer sounds in comparison to others? The build quality MAY be spotty on the OT's. Mine sounds OK to my ears especially at volume, and my buddy complains that his is down on power. He has good ears so his opinion counts. I do think my a...

Re: The Dumble at lark street????
Tag, may very well have scored a Holy Grail Dumble example. He deserves it more so then anyone else I know if he did. Kudos to him for having the balls to pull the money out and hand it over in this economy. He chased his dream tone for 10+ years, defended his beliefs, ran all over creation to hear ...

Re: Robbin Ford forum and Pritchard amps
Jack did try the Pritchards out a couple of years ago IIRC, but he couldn't bond with it, so off that experiment went.jaysg wrote:Jack Zucker is the only one at TGP who seems to like them.

Is Owlsey related to Owsley Stanley?fullerplast wrote:For years Elvin used a BFPR modified by Owlsey Stanley. I think Elvin definately goes for the "wolf in sheeps clothing" approach.
Congrats on some good press and exposure.
Thx,

They're cool amps. They change hands every so often on The Gear Page, The Brown Note Forum and also here on the For Sale Page.

Re: Ceriatone Overtone S&M Special
For some reason when Ceriatone gets mentioned a lot of feathers get ruffled. Possibly because of his naming of his amps and also due to the low prices he sells them for. Well the low prices certainly raised eyebrows to many. I really do think that the "genie is out of the bottle" in this internet a...

Re: Ceriatone Overtone S&M Special
I let a friend borrow my OTS and FX loop for a couple of weeks. He is a real good player and tone slut. He was astounded at how good the amp sounded with a variety of guitars. He ended up ordering the S&M version which he will build and tune himself. This clip where the tele is played first pretty m...

Re: Trim Potis inside of the Ceriatone
Hi Gregor, welcome to the OTS club. Best power tubes I've heard to date in the amp have been Svetlana Winged C. Not sure what is in yours, but the JJ's from the factory do not necessarily let the amp shine.
Continued success to you.

Re: new ceriatone: Overtone His Royal Majesty (HRM) 100/50
[quote="dogears"] I have not seen it at all with the typical 90s style HRM that we all know and love... The one detailed here on Ampgarage that Nik has clearly based his on. /quote] I haven't heard ANY Ceriatone HRM clips that have really caught my ear just yet FWTW. I was curious where the design f...

Re: bludotone w/scott lerner
Not that this is any sort of attempted sell, just a factual correction. I sell only through Dealers and Dealer order to delivery from us is approx 8-10 weeks, which is excellent and I do everything in my power to keep it at that. I keep seeing that assumption, so I thought I would correct it...agai...
