Rheostat version. Taking the toaster apart and adding the brake parts takes some time.

add 2 47uf-450volt caps to the power supply.
I added one 47uf 450v cap to each of the 100uf 450v caps in the power supply and it helped clean up mine. The master and the volume should be at least at 1/4 or 9 o'clock on the dial.

added the 47u 450v on my overtone 50, cleans are better
The cleans were breaking up, now they are nice and tight. Overdrive about the same. this has the transformer upgrades. adding the rest of the 124 mods today. The pre-amp boost circuit seems to do little, if nothing. Would like to switch it to mid-boost instead. The special is the best combination of...
