Is the 38 mA cathode current? If so you are on the cold side but not extremely so. Thank you Martin it was a grounding issue at V1, I’m so glad I found that and now it is working. I’ve learned so much doing this project and then troubleshooting my problem! I could have never done this without the Amp Garage community! Now I’m going to tidy my wiring better. Thank you

So I reworked my bias pot connection and I have about-35 dc volts on my control grid, but I’m still getting severe tremolo (fast oscillation) and from what I can read on my current limiter it is drawing 30 volts to ground
