Re: New capacitor line from Jupiter

Kendrick Amps sells their custom produced electrolytics, as well as their self branded film caps, for very competitive prices. I've been very happy with their sound and reliability.

Re: SOUND ELECTRONICS CORP X305R

I've loved my X305-Rs. I've had 2, and still have one of them. The components and workmanship are top notch and they sound fantastic. Full, legible schematics appear to be nonexistent.

Re: Plush Super 450 Schematic?

BTW, Although they were basically Fender circuit copies, Plush used transformers designed for them by Saul Marantz and have a great touch response.

Re: Altec 418 Question

Thanks. Yeah, I can't find anything about the 418 but that's what the sticker on the magnet cover says. The date code is 391221 which I believe is 1962.the cone appears to be original. I just can't find any specs for it, only for the 418B and 418-8H.

Thanks for your reply. I think the 418 also has an Alnico magnet.

Re: 1966 BF Showman - Recommended Replacement Parts

Kendrick Amplifiers sells bags of high quality electrolytic caps at a very good price. Just curious - how are you assessing their quality? Are there any specs beyond the basic nominal capacitance and rated voltage? Just my experience using them for restorations, conversions, and repairs, Kendrick's...

Re: 2020 Monkeymatic Black Buttes

Nice. Here are my takes using the same core. I have taken a very different circuit design approach however maintaining the option of an ef86 input stage and a treble/bass tone stack.

Re: Princeton reverb build. Speaker

I have put 12" speakers, an EV SRO12 and a JBL D120f in my PRs along with Deluxe Reverb OTs. Just my preference but they both gig very well and have for years. Replacement baffles are readily available. Both are 1968s.

Spectrum Analyzers

Can anyone recommend a reasonably priced audio frequency spectrum analyzer which accepts electrical line level inputs?
Thanks,
