I would like to put the 12AX7 on the chassis, use the existing jacks and pass the cables to a 1590B enclosure with the PCB screwed to the headshell farthest from the power tubes

Do you know any cool mods that would make it usable? Hmmm... I see a very Fender-ish clean channel and an OD channel with a lot of influence from the revered 2203 with input boosted. Quite a lot of low cut there, but there usually is in "higher gain" amps... I know, I know, these MA-series amps do ...

A good friend of mine got ripped off by a store which sold him this amp € 1800 with a 1960a in 2009.

Today he cannot resell it for a change. I told him I was going to try to make the best of it.

i was working on your schematic and... it reminded me something .... Here is the diagram of the blackheart bh15 (which I own) and that I wanted to check. Looks like it would be a more suitable base for a dumble mod.

I was thinking particularly of the overdrive section.
My goal is not to be 100% dumble faithful but to have a "inspired" crunch channel. a bit like a pedal but with a full tonestack.

I agree for P2P but my amp is not ( i put a picture). I think i will etch some pcb section to do that.

do you see any light dumble mod i can do on a channel ?
