Re: My take on an SSS
i all, Bit late to the party, but I built this amp a while ago and wanted to share it. It's a fantastic amp—definitely one of my favorite SSS builds out there. I added an FET to the front end, inspired by one of the posts here. Big thanks to Manning for helping me get the bias set properly—I'm not t...

Re: Overdrive Deluxe amp
Hi all, Just wondering if there have been any updates to the schematic or changes you've made after building it? I recently built this amp for fun. The power section is a bit different from the original, but the preamp is mostly unchanged — I added a low-gain switch for some extra flexibility. The o...

Re: Dumble Bandmaster Gator UltraPhonix Build
Hi All, (long time lurker, I just look and build)
Just built the amp but a single channel using Ryan's schematic, with Reverb and Princeton tremolo. Got plenty of od/break up on tap. It's 6l6 rectified. Reverb is using a 6bm8 tube to free up a tube.

HIWATT jimmy page Footswitch
Hi guys,
Long time lurker here. Built the 50w Jimmy page amp in a smaller chassis. 400mm x 165mm x 70mm chassis. Do you guys have the layout diagram/circuit of the hiwatt footswitch? I can't find any online and sadly the link that was shared here doesn't work anymore.
Cheers!

Re: Your thoughts? Overdrive Special as a Pedal Platform
Last but not least, and not to highjack this thread, the other day I stumbled on this video. I think this amp sounds super cool, talked to Tony about it and neither one of us knows either the builder or the owner. About as good as anything else I've heard, to be honest: https://youtu.be/u3dsJGgKM3Y...

Re: Marshmallow's amps
It wasn't comfortable at all. I live in a one room apartment here in Japan and even making the cabinet gets a little crazy. (Originally from NZ)professormudd wrote: ↑Sun Sep 26, 2021 4:15 pm Very nice. You mentioned all work being done on the floor... I couldn't imagine my body would feel very good about that at all.

Re: Marshmallow's amps
The Attempt at #60 using Aaron's schematic. Not happy with the power supply board. chassis size is 530mmx203x64mm. Not the large chassis so it was a little tight. FW is made with folded SS steel.
50w/25w 6l6. Still needs some work on the reverb but otherwise pretty awesome.
