Re: Boogie MKIIB ....... hmmm
I had one of the first MkII's. Gigged with it for several years. Nice amp. Mine was a 60 watt, no graphic, EVM speaker. Mine came with Sylvania 6L6GC's. I ran the first volume at 7, lead drive at 7, Treble at 7, Mid at 5, Bass at 3, master at 1.5 for small clubs. (I didn't care for the pull pots.) L...

Re: RANT!!!!!!
America has gone from "Bush League" to an "Obamanation". The govt. is the least efficient, more wasteful, and more corrupt than any organization or corporation. Yet we are being told that they are the solution to the problems that they themselves have created. The problem with our govt. is that ever...

Re: RANT!!!!!!
When is the "Tea Party"? I'd love to participate.
We the people have lost control of our country. I voted for the recall, but Arnold is no better.
Unless we rise up and FIRE (vote out) the idiots in Congress, and the State Legislators, we're asking for more of the same. (or worse)

Re: Getting that Dumble or D Clone Tone?
I ordered a EVM 12L Classic from AMS. Should get it later this week. :D By the way, I changed the title to the thread from Two Rock to D Clone because it was necesarily the Two Rock tone that I liked but just that Dumble overdrive tone that I am trying to get. I'm thinking also it has a lot to do w...

Re: 10" and 12" Speaker Mix (D'Lite 22/33)
Since you seem to prefer the 12-65 for recording, I'd suggest a ported Hermida-type closed back with another 12-65. I tried one with my D'Lite, and it added a tight, punchy, focused bottom and complimented the 12-65 in my combo perfectly.

Re: non-HRM with BM PI?
I have a d'lite build that currently includes the BM PI. I have read where others have commented about the effects the BM PI has on harmonics and bloom, but I will add a take on it that is a bit different. Where as the original D-lite PI worked well for me when playing with a light touch, as I play...

Re: A clip of the kid.....
Tasty playing and great tone.
How would you describe the changes in the amp since you rebuilt it?
BTW, I found out someone in my neck of the woods has a Glaswerks. I gotta hook up with him.

Re: Kit or Parts?
I built a Weber 5e5a and a Torres (that I butchered until it sounded good). I think my leaning towards a kit comes from the BOM issues, I can find time and have experience to build the amp, but I don't think I'm ready to fly solo - yet. Sounds like a kit would be perfect for you. You won't be flyin...

Re: Kit or Parts?
I'm thinking about building an ODS and have been looking at the kits vs buying parts issues. Any advice? When I build a kit I tend to leave it the way the designer inteded (don't wan't to tamper with it), but if I buy parts I'm more likely to screw it up to my tasts - which is an advantage. Any adv...
