I’m thinking about a couple other changes too and wondering if anyone can offer insite:

Switch to EL34’s...apparently this tightens the bass?

Leave the 6L6 and go with 470 screen resistors

Last year I ordered a bunch of stuff. It took him a while to deliver but he did but he had a 22uf on back order so when he sent that seperate he sent a 220uf...I emailed and emailed and emailed....no reply.

Well crap...however I see they sell a power supply too. It seems like this would be a quick and cheap way to build an external dumbleator.

Thanks for the reply...that makes a lot of sense. I had a Carol OD2 and the effects loop was essentially the master volume.
