Ok Ipri0 is the idle current when you connect primary to a AC source f.e 117Vac and 60Hz. Plug the prirmary to 117 Vac with an amperimeter connected in series and no other OT wires connect please. Now you know Ipri0. If we know de Vac 117 and the "idle current" Ipri0, we get primary Inductance. For ...

Anybody know technical data for this OT?

Total primary Inductance?
capacitances: Primary Capacitance, primary to ground?
Primary DC Resistance

If anybody has a 3801 is possible any measurement?

Probably the best capacitor if are looking for more pronounced middle range, also a great capacitor for guitar tone circuit, but it’s expensive.

Try a:

- KT type, polyester film & foil like PVC.

- MTK type Metallized polyester for example MKT1813 cheap and warm sound.
