Nope,we briefly touched on it,but that particular thread is about using a BF/SF Bassman as a platform for an ODS build, this is a D-modified BF Bassman, not specifically an ODS type thing.

Re: Dumble's mods for a Fender Bassman

I spoke with Normster last week about what is now appearing as a one-off that I am trying to find out about. It's a blackface mid60's Bassman, formerly owned by David Lindley, modded by HAD,used on most,if not all,of the touring and recording Lindley did, with Jackson Browne.I sent out one email and go...

Re: Smaller size Dumble chassis?

If you're gonna keep it 'lite',doesn't it make sense to keep it to V1,V2,PI,as we are talking about dumbleateor,a series loop could be added like my K&M has,if you feel there is a demand for an effects loop-I am not sure where you and BN are drawing your proverbial 'line in the sand'?I hope this he...

Re: Smaller size Dumble chassis?

I understand,Normster-I was looking at the layout this PM and was trying to 'guess' whether the foot channel switcher would be possible. The tone defeat generally can be managed by hand.I am just looking at this from a practical gigging/jamming standpoint.Thanks.

Re: Smaller size Dumble chassis?

I might be speaking for several people,so if I for now, gotta say what I want,I would like it predrilled for all the extruded components (trannies, pots, etc) and I think if you were to silk screen a faceplate on the chassis that would work.I have to ask a noobie question here:is it possible to add an ...

Re: UPS bent my chassis!?!

Holy Cow,I have heard a bunch of stories like these from a variety of people. That said when I know I have either ordered/bought a guitar or amp it is normally a custom order-the last time was April of 2003-I have gone with overnight Fed Ex.I don't know if it's the best, but I DO know that if you only...

Re: First clips of the DumbleLite

I wrote a brief review of the clips and what you have shared about the Dumble Lite,at yet another forum I hang out at due to interest there-here it is: I am not, repeat, not an amp builder, but I could turn into one based on the way it sounds.I was told it's about 300 bucks in parts, and one guy built u...

Re: Brown Note's D-LITE clams

The tone between both is much closer than you might think. Greg and Brownnote have very different styles, guitars, and cabs. When BN played both amps in an A/B setting, the only significant difference was the richness of the harmonic content with BN's Heyboers obviously winning out over the cheaper...

Re: Brown Note's D-LITE clams

I think I might like to be kept in the loop about when Kits are available...the tone between the 2 of them is close enough that I could use a 20-30 watter on the gigs that I am going to eventually start doing again...Very Hip,Normster and Brown Note. :D
