Why do you use MF, metal film resistors for the grid stoppers?

My trainwreck express is done, a few esthetic details missing, cab, chassis, turret boards are all diy the sound is really great, touch sensitivity is very good, a monster headroom in the clean sound.And it is quite.But too loud to hear the overdrive spot. Hi Is someone knows the ref (the primary impedance) of this transformer OT 3 output 4/8/16 ohms,installed in a 60 \70 ‘s guyatone tube amp ,it’s seems it’s not the original one , circuit close to an AB 763,I found it with some el34 and at max a very low bias .Many thanks . https://www.noelshack.com/...

Congrats on your build. All the things you noted are common with this amp. For that presence circuit you may need to move the wire from pot to impedance selector around and see if that helps.
