Amen.
May he take his special brand of sleaze and go away for good.

Re: Songwriter Group Build -- Not Gonna Happen

Mark, that was a Komet 60 Proto. It has been bought and sold a dozen times if I remember right. At one time, that amp was sold on ebay with the claim it was once joe perry's personal amp. The amp I'm talking about is a Concorde Prototype. It is made with perfboard. I have the pics somewhere from th...

Re: Songwriter Group Build -- Not Gonna Happen

I had one of those chassis. You will not want to use a Greenlee punch. Have it laser cut instead, much cleaner.

Re: Songwriter Group Build -- Not Gonna Happen

"I'm not going to dignify this any further" Really Hogy? What have you ever dignified here or on any other forum? Yourself? Yes. In fact you have made a living out of dignifying yourself at the expense of a dead person who befriended you and realized you were a jive ass chump, just like Gerald Webe...

Re: 2x12 on ebay

You mean the one with the 58 stratocaster and Lyle Workman? Gosh, it's been awhile since I've seen that one. Either Normster or Rocco had posted that. I forget. What a tone that amp has! It's out there somewhere. exactly. I loved your playing on that clip. Inspired by that clip, I build a Bluesmast...

Re: 2x12 on ebay

Thanks! My friend and I are happy. I thought it would fetch over 8k and upwards of 12 depending on buyer motivation. Interesting to say the least! We all learned from this big time. Thanks everyone and tomorrow I will have the cab here, so I will take a few more photos in case you all have the need....

Re: 2x12 on ebay

The port dimensions are: 16.25" wide and the height is 9.0", centered.
Because it's oval, the actual shape should be easy.

Re: Bluesmaster 183 stereo rack amp

If I may make a suggestion... Not knowing what you plan to do for rack mounting, I would like to suggest something along the lines of the photo attached that I did for a power supply that I built for one of my transmitters. This allows for proper weight distribution due to the weight placed onto the...

Re: 2x12 on ebay

Ampman, would it be possible to post some measurements before you let it go? The dimensions of the cut out look different from the 2x12 dimensions posted in the files section. The cut out looks to be about 10.25 inches wide by about 18.5" long by measuring the photo. If you go to the auction, I pos...

Re: 2x12 on ebay

I'm brokering the cab for a friend as he wanted to remain private. Based on what i know, and the demand for his products that it might fetch 12k. As with anything as crazy as the vintage amp market, anything is possible. It would be my guess that less than 20 of this variety but like I said in the a...
