It appears that a just purchased NOS Tungsram was causing the crackling, so that's taken care of, but it still has no sustain, it's like there is a strong gate on. Is this "blocking"?

I too am having cabinets built for both a Marshall and a "Wreck with bubinga. My builder's name is Larry also.8) He wants to know if the bubinga has any problem taking to the glue and what glue do you think is best. Thanks.
