Brown face Fender bassman
Just had a client drop off a brown face with cream colored knobs Fender Bassman. Dying to plug it in and just turn it on. Don't know how long it has been dormant. Any suggestions on slowly powering it up on a proper resistive load?

Setting Bias on Fender Hot Rod Deville
Schematic calls for 60mV at TP 30. Only able to get 54mV with pot wide open. Any suggestions? All settings are set to prescribed levels on schematic.

Loud hum on Fender with no input
Now looking at the schematics the tip of jack is sent to ground with out a jack plugged in. The switchcraft jacks do not have the option to send tip to ground with out a plug inserted in at least one of them

Loud hum with no input on a Fender Hot Rod Deville.
Plug in a guitar hum all but goes away. Put a scope on B+ point and there is AC on the B+ supply.
Bias cannot be adjusted past 50mV DC
Simply replace the electrolytics?
