At this point i think Ken is just over the edge.
No one has reported getting anything shipped and the only refunds have come via paypal claims/chargebacks,
with not a single response from Ken.
He STILL will post on his facebook page, and the page from the Lava Lounge, the other business he runs.

Re: Do not order from Wattstubeaudio
Looks like after some internet razzing that Ken has crawled out from under his rock with the same ole line o shit he's been spouting for almost a year now. "Attention: We are working day and night to catch up with orders. If you have an order with us and need a refund, please email, orders@wattstube...

Re: Do not order from Wattstubeaudio
Looks like Ken is just running a scam at this point. He doesn't reply to emails, his "voicemail is having problems" so you can't leave a message when you call Number is 727-686-8043 if anyone needs it. He hides it/omits it on the website now. Probably time to call the Tampa Police and file a complai...

Re: Brown Voltage question/help
Thanks for the reply and the suggestion. I did actually replace all the tube sockets and rewire everything. Only things old are the actual chassis and the transformers. It's a combination of point to point/term strip with a small generic tag strip/posts And it ultimately works as is, its just a bit ...

Using an old hifi chassis- Everything works, i just can't dial in the plate voltages on V1 Using a 100K on the first plate s...

Re: 6G16-A/Weber treble pot question
Thanks for all the help and info guys.
I ended up using the 500k pot method with the 75k and 1M1 resistors and it works like a charm.
Sounds like i get treble response at about 5 on the dial.
I'm happier with it now, even if it sounds the same.
Shame the Weber QC is so low....

Re: 6G16-A/Weber treble pot question
It actually sounds fine, it just seems wrong. I suppose on amps like these, you find the "good" tone and mostly stick to it, but it would be nice to have it more usable. Maybe i'll pester Weber for a new pair to see if quality has improved at all. You mention you get "control" at about 1 oclock, whi...

Re: 6G16-A/Weber treble pot question
Thanks for the help. Just rewired to your diagtam, which i am confident is correct, and i still get the usual. Sounds a bit dull until 8 on the treble, then sounds really good, but i have little control of the treble in that range. I can only get ice picky if i turn up the volume and roll off the ba...

Re: 6G16-A/Weber treble pot question
Thanks for the pic. I think i actually tried that way. I'm starting to think i got a couple crappy pots. To my understanding you are supposed to have it be "Flat" at (around)5 and then you roll off down to 1 and boost up to 10. I was getting literally no change from 1 to 8 then a very narrow band wh...

6G16-A/Weber treble pot question
Hi Folks, Putting together a 6G16, just about everything works, no hum, no noise, sounds fine (once a have the treble pot over 3/4) And therein lies the problem. I'm using the tapped pot, i pulled it out(happens on both channels) tested the pot. Seems fine. The treble caps block DC and pass the ac s...
