It turned out to be an incorrect bleed cap that was in the kit.

Ceriatone JTM45 clone build issue - low buzzy output
I had this amp kit built for me by an amp builder friend of mine, and we're getting low buzzy output. He had a bit of trouble with installing the output transformer. I'm wondering if it's an impedance mismatch? It should be wired for 8ohm, but if he accidentally wired it for 16ohm, would that cause ...
