Need money to see the Rolling Stones...
It is my dream in life to see the Rolling Stones live once! Unfortunately, I do not currently have the 379.54 euro (~$522) to see them live with a friend in Dusseldorf (broke student...). Could you please help me? I hate asking for money but in this case, I am willing to ask people so that I can go....

Re: Reissue Gibson Fuzz-Tone FZ-1A Petition!
I guess I am the only one who would want this... I know that germanium transistors are harder to find, and that they are temperature depended beasts - but still, who wouldn't want a Maestro RI? I contacted Gibson and they said that there were "no plans at this time", let's try to change that! ...

Re: Reissue Gibson Fuzz-Tone FZ-1A Petition!
I am not sure that an RI Fuzztone is not a viable product... Despite the "production nightmare" of dealing with germanium transistors, there are still many big manufactures who do so with success... Although it may require extra work on the manufacture's behalf, it is not as much as a "production ni...

Re: Stupid Question - Solution for tight screws?
Thank you all! After a half an hour struggle with WD40, a soldering iron and a screwdriver, the screws came loose! Thank you all again!

Stupid Question - Solution for tight screws?
Does anyone have a good way to loosen very tight screws? I recently bought an EHX East River Drive while in NYC and am not able to unscrew the battery access. I have tried "tapping" the screws but with no success. Any good ideas? Thanks.

Re: Blues Deluxe RI EQ Settings? NO HATE PLEASE!
I am just finding that the amp sounds too bright, and to spikey/punching (even with presence on 0...). Here are my current settings for a clean sound: BRT: OFF BASS: 9 MIDDLE: 3 TREBLE: 4 REVERB: 4 PRESENCE: 0 Any EQ samples? I know that this greatly depends on the room/atmospherics conditions...etc...

Blues Deluxe RI EQ Settings? NO HATE PLEASE!
I recently bought a used Fender Blues RI... I have been struggling to get a good balanced sound out the amp. The amp is mostly stock other than a Jensen P12Q and a 12ay7 in V1. I would like to know what are some good EQ settings for the amp when using low output bright strats and a germanium fuzzfac...

What is the most sensitive 12'' speaker (@1W,1m)?
Do anyone know of 12'' speaker that has rating higher than 103db? Just curious about this. Thanks.

5e3 Deluxe w/ G12 Century Vintage (Neo)
What do you think of this potential marriage of 5e3 and G12 century vintage? Would this make the amp more gig-able? Also, I still don't fully understand what guitar players mean by, the difference between "perceived loudness" and "volume"... So if someone could explain this to me, that would be grea...

Re: KT66 Amp - Summer Project Help Wanted
I think, I will stay with the reverb (it's an addiction). I would probably be looking at a push/pull KT66 design. My only concern, with the SE design is the volume for gigs (8-9 watts?). I think I am looking for a push/pull design. Basically a simplified blues breaker, with spring reverb, gain, volu...

KT66 Amp - Summer Project Help Wanted
I have some time and money to spare this summer, so I would like to build an amp head with 2x10 cabinet, I am still considering combo... I will be using two 10' Jensen Tornado speakers (fyi). I got a good deal on some Sovtek 5Y3's & GT KT66's; so I would like to use them... I would love to have a vo...
